The PANDUIT FZ2ERLNSNSNM014 is an OM4 multimode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density data center and network infrastructure applications. Built with a 1.6mm cable diameter and LC duplex connectors on both ends, this 2-fiber assembly carries multimode optical signals across structured cabling systems. The OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) rating makes it suitable for vertical runs between floors in commercial buildings. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this cable to terminate structured fiber backbone and horizontal cabling in enterprise and data center environments.
This patch cable is used in OM4 multimode fiber installations supporting high-bandwidth applications such as 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet over short to medium distances. The LC duplex form factor is common in high-density patch panels, fiber switches, and transceivers where space is limited. The OFNR rating qualifies it for riser-rated conduit and open plenum-adjacent pathways where a riser jacket meets code. It is well suited for horizontal and backbone runs in commercial buildings, data centers, and server rooms.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for OM4 multimode fiber systems using LC duplex interfaces, including fiber patch panels, media converters, and SFP-based network switches in riser-rated installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or network cabling professional familiar with TIA-568 fiber standards. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, as excessive bending degrades optical performance. Inspect and clean LC connector end-faces before mating to avoid contamination-related signal loss. Verify that the riser pathway meets NEC Article 770 requirements before installing OFNR-rated cable.
