The PANDUIT FXTRP8NUJSNF072 is an OM3 multimode 12-fiber round harness cable assembly designed for structured cabling and fiber distribution applications. This assembly transitions a single multi-fiber trunk connector on one end to individual fiber connectors on the breakout end, allowing direct patching to active equipment or fiber panels. OM3 glass supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and higher-speed applications over multimode infrastructure. Licensed data center technicians, network cabling installers, and low-voltage contractors are the primary installers of this assembly.
This harness cable assembly is suited for enterprise data centers, server rooms, and high-density fiber distribution environments. It is typically used to fan out multi-fiber trunk cables to individual ports on switches, transceivers, or fiber patch panels. The round jacket construction provides durability and ease of routing in overhead trays and conduit. OM3 multimode fiber is standard in installations supporting 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE transmission across campus and intra-building backbone runs.
Designed as an OEM-style fiber harness assembly for use in structured cabling systems and high-density fiber distribution enclosures supporting OM3 multimode infrastructure.
Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling contractors or data center technicians following TIA-568 and BICSI structured cabling standards. Deactivate all connected equipment and transceivers before mating or unmating fiber connectors to prevent exposure to active laser sources. Handle fiber connectors with care to avoid contamination of end faces; use approved fiber cleaning tools before insertion. Secure the round cable jacket in appropriate fiber management trays to prevent tight bends that could exceed the minimum bend radius.
