The PANDUIT FX8RP7NUSQNF031 is an OM3 8-fiber round harness assembly rated for plenum environments. This pre-terminated fiber optic harness transitions a single multi-fiber round cable into individual fiber legs, each terminated and ready for direct connection to active equipment or patch panels. OM3 glass supports high-speed multimode transmission, making this assembly a practical choice for structured cabling backbone runs and equipment room interconnects. Licensed low-voltage or datacom cabling contractors typically handle installation in commercial and enterprise environments.
This harness assembly is suited for plenum-rated (CMP) airspace installations such as above-ceiling cable pathways and raised-floor data center environments where building and fire codes require low-smoke, flame-retardant cable jackets. The 8-fiber configuration supports parallel optic applications including 40G and 100G breakout scenarios where a single trunk cable fans out to multiple individual ports. It is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for new structured cabling installations as well as upgrades to existing OM3 plant infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style pre-terminated harness for OM3 multimode structured cabling systems in plenum-rated commercial and enterprise environments.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or fiber optic cabling technician familiar with TIA-568 standards and local building codes governing plenum-rated pathways. Inspect all connectors and clean ferrules prior to mating to avoid contamination-related insertion loss. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, and avoid placing tension loads on the fiber legs at the breakout point. Confirm that all active equipment ports are powered down before inserting or removing fiber connectors.
