The PANDUIT FX23LSNSNSNM044 is a duplex multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling and data network infrastructure. Built to OM3 multimode specification, this cable supports high-bandwidth applications over short to medium distances in enterprise and data center environments. The 2-fiber construction uses a 3mm duplex jacket rated LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), making it suitable for installations where flame spread and toxic smoke emission are code concerns. SC duplex connectors on both ends provide a secure, repeatable connection at patch panels and active equipment ports. Licensed cabling technicians and low-voltage contractors are the primary installers.
This patch cable is used in horizontal and backbone fiber runs within structured cabling systems. Typical applications include switch-to-patch-panel connections, server room cross-connects, and equipment room fiber distribution. The LSZH jacket rating makes it appropriate for use in plenum-adjacent or enclosed spaces where local codes restrict PVC jacketing. The OM3 rating supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed protocols over standard multimode distances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit patch cable for OM3 multimode fiber infrastructure using SC duplex port interfaces.
Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians or licensed electricians in accordance with TIA-568 and applicable local codes. Inspect connector end-faces for contamination before mating and clean with approved fiber optic cleaning tools as needed. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, and avoid pinching or kinking the jacket. Power down or disable active ports at patch panels and switches before disconnecting or reconnecting fiber patch cables where laser sources are present.
