The PANDUIT FWUYL7575LAM025 is an OM5 wideband multimode fiber trunk cable assembly designed for high-density structured cabling installations. Built with a 24-fiber count and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, this trunk cable is engineered for data center and enterprise network environments where both performance and fire-safety compliance are critical. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic gas and smoke emissions in the event of a fire, making it well-suited for enclosed or plenum-adjacent spaces where air quality standards are enforced. Licensed installers and structured cabling technicians are the primary installers of this assembly.
This trunk cable is intended for backbone and zone-distribution runs in high-density data center environments, enterprise campuses, and commercial network infrastructure. OM5 wideband multimode fiber supports short-reach parallel optic and wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) applications, making it a forward-compatible choice for 40G, 100G, and emerging higher-bandwidth transmission standards. The 24-fiber count is a common configuration for MTP/MPO-based high-density patching systems.
Designed as an OEM-style trunk cable assembly for use in high-density OM5 multimode fiber patching and backbone systems utilizing MTP/MPO connectivity infrastructure.
Installation should be performed by a qualified structured cabling technician familiar with fiber optic handling procedures. Minimum bend radius must be maintained throughout routing and termination to prevent signal degradation. All active network equipment should be powered down or ports disabled before connecting or disconnecting fiber trunk assemblies. Follow TIA-568 and applicable local codes for cable routing, labeling, and fire-stop requirements.
