The PANDUIT FWTYL7575LAM012 is an OM5 wideband multimode fiber trunk cable rated for 12 fibers with a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket. This factory-terminated trunk assembly is designed for high-density structured cabling installations where space, performance, and plenum-safe materials are critical. The OM5 fiber designation supports shortwave wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) and is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 transceivers, making it well-suited for data center and enterprise backbone runs. Licensed network cabling technicians and low-voltage contractors are the primary installers.
This trunk cable is used in high-density data center interconnect applications, enterprise campus backbones, and equipment room patch environments. The 12-fiber count is a standard configuration for parallel optic and breakout applications. The LSZH jacket makes this cable appropriate for installations in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces where local fire codes restrict the use of PVC-jacketed cable. Typical install scenarios include top-of-rack to end-of-row runs and main distribution area to horizontal distribution area links.
Designed as an OEM-style trunk assembly compatible with PANDUIT high-density fiber enclosures and cassette systems supporting OM5 multimode fiber connectivity.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with structured cabling standards such as ANSI/TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801. Power down active equipment in the relevant fiber path before connecting or disconnecting the trunk assembly. Avoid exceeding the cable minimum bend radius during routing and do not cinch cable ties tightly against the jacket. Inspect factory-terminated connectors for contamination and clean with approved fiber optic cleaning tools before insertion.
