The PANDUIT FWTYL7575KNM037 is an OM5 wideband multimode fiber optic trunk cable designed for high-density structured cabling infrastructure. Built with a 12-fiber configuration and jacketed in low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) material, this trunk cable is suited for data center and enterprise network environments where fire safety and air quality codes demand reduced toxic emissions. The LSZH jacket meets requirements for plenum and enclosed-space installations where halogen-based materials are restricted. Licensed network infrastructure technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the typical installers.
This trunk cable is intended for use in pre-terminated fiber backbone runs within data centers, enterprise campuses, and telecommunications rooms. OM5 wideband multimode fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) applications and is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 multimode equipment, making it a forward-looking choice for high-speed backbone segments running 40G, 100G, and emerging higher-bandwidth protocols over existing multimode infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style pre-terminated trunk cable for use with compatible OM5 multimode fiber patching and distribution systems in high-density data center and enterprise cabling infrastructure.
Low-voltage cabling technicians should install this trunk cable in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards and applicable local fire and building codes governing LSZH-rated materials. Power down active equipment at both end panels before connecting or disconnecting fiber trunk assemblies. Avoid exceeding the cable minimum bend radius during routing and do not cinch cable ties tightly against the jacket, as excess pressure can degrade fiber performance.
