The 2 mm duplex cable jacket is rated OFNP (optical fiber nonconductive plenum), making it suitable for installation in plenum air-handling spaces where fire and smoke ratings are required by code. The LC Uniboot design consolidates both fibers into a single connector body, reducing port density demands and simplifying cable management in high-density fiber panels. This patch cord is polished with a physical contact (PC) finish to minimize back-reflection at the connection point.
This patch cord is used in structured cabling systems supporting wideband multimode fiber (WBMMF) applications, including high-speed data center interconnects, campus backbone runs, and enterprise LAN environments.
