The PANDUIT FW2ERLNSNSNM004 is an OM5 duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in data centers, enterprise networks, and commercial buildings. Built with a 1.6mm duplex jacketed design and LC duplex connectors on both ends, this 2-fiber assembly supports high-bandwidth multimode applications. The OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) jacket rating makes it suitable for installation in riser pathways between floors. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers of this type of assembly.
This patch cable is used in multimode fiber backbone and horizontal cabling runs where OM5 wideband multimode fiber is specified. OM5 glass supports shortwave wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) and is backward compatible with OM4 and OM3 transceivers, making it well suited for 40G, 100G, and emerging higher-speed applications.
