The PANDUIT FW2ERLNLNNNM005 is an OM5 wideband multimode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density structured cabling installations. It features a 1.6mm diameter cordage, LC duplex connectors on both ends, and an OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) rated jacket, making it suitable for vertical riser pathways between floors. The 2-fiber construction supports simultaneous bidirectional transmission or parallel optical links. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling installers use this cable in data center, enterprise LAN, and riser backbone applications.
This patch cable is suited for riser-rated structured cabling environments where OM5 wideband multimode performance is required. The LC duplex form factor fits standard high-density fiber patch panels, switches, and transceivers. Its compact 1.6mm jacket diameter allows for tighter bend management in congested pathways. It is a practical choice for short-reach parallel optics applications including SWDM and 40G or 100G multimode transmission over OM5-compatible infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard patch cable for OM5 wideband multimode fiber infrastructure using LC duplex interfaces in riser-rated installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down active transceivers and ports before connecting or disconnecting fiber patch cables to prevent optical exposure. Inspect and clean LC ferrules prior to insertion using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cordage during routing through conduit or cable management.
