The PANDUIT FSTK is a fiber splice tray designed to organize and protect optical fiber splices within a fiber distribution or management enclosure. It provides a structured mounting surface for mechanical splices, keeping splice points secure and accessible for technicians performing fiber termination, restoration, or infrastructure buildout work. The tray accommodates up to 6 mechanical splices and is sold as a single unit. Low-voltage and outside-plant cabling contractors, as well as data center and telecom technicians, are the primary installers of this component.
The FSTK splice tray is suited for use in fiber optic hardware and connectivity applications across both commercial and residential structured cabling installations. It installs inside fiber distribution panels, wall-mount enclosures, or rack-mount fiber management systems where organized splice storage is required. This tray is appropriate for any environment where mechanical splices must be retained securely and labeled for ongoing maintenance access.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard component for use with PANDUIT fiber optic hardware and connectivity enclosures that accept modular splice tray inserts.
Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or fiber optic specialists. Power down or de-energize any active equipment in the enclosure before handling fiber splices or inserting the tray. Handle optical fiber with care to avoid bend-radius violations that can cause signal loss. Follow TIA-568 and local low-voltage cabling codes for fiber infrastructure work.
