The PANDUIT FS2EPKHKHNHM006 is a duplex OM4+ multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density structured cabling environments. Built with a 1.6mm diameter cordage and terminated with keyed LC connectors on both ends, this patch cable supports polarity-controlled installations where accidental cross-connection must be prevented. The OFNP (optical fiber nonconductive plenum) jacket rating makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces and plenum ceiling environments where fire and smoke performance requirements apply. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the typical installers.
This patch cable is used in data centers, enterprise network closets, and structured cabling systems that require OM4+ performance. The 2-fiber duplex configuration supports full-duplex transmission across active equipment such as switches, transceivers, and fiber media converters. The keyed LC connector design is intended for systems where polarity management is enforced at the port level, reducing the chance of mismatched connections during high-density patching. Plenum-rated construction satisfies NEC requirements for cables routed through plenum air spaces without conduit.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for use with LC-keyed duplex ports on multimode fiber switches, transceivers, and patch panels in structured cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with fiber optic termination and NEC Article 770 requirements. Clean fiber end-faces with an appropriate fiber optic cleaning tool before mating connectors to avoid insertion loss. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cordage during routing, and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Verify polarity alignment at both ends before bringing the link into service.
