The PANDUIT FS2EPKEKENEM030 is a duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density structured cabling environments. It features an OM4+ multimode fiber rating, a 1.6mm duplex cable diameter, and LC keyed connectors with a physical contact (PC) polish. The OFNP plenum-rated jacket meets fire code requirements for installation in air-handling spaces. This patch cord is suited for use in data centers, enterprise networks, and commercial buildings where high-bandwidth, short-reach optical links are required. Licensed low-voltage cabling technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary trade who handle termination and installation of these assemblies.
This patch cord is used in horizontal and backbone cabling runs where OM4+ multimode fiber is deployed. The LC keyed connector format helps prevent mismatched connections in installations that use a color-coded or keyed patching strategy. The plenum OFNP rating makes it appropriate for above-ceiling and in-wall pathways subject to NFPA 90A air-handling requirements. Typical applications include switch-to-patch-panel links, server connections, and intra-rack fiber routing in structured cabling systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit patch cord for structured cabling systems using LC duplex OM4+ multimode fiber ports and keyed LC adapter panels.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down or place active equipment ports in a safe state before connecting or disconnecting fiber patch cords to avoid optical exposure hazards. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could affect optical performance. Confirm keyed connector orientation matches the adapter before insertion to prevent forced mating.
