The PANDUIT FS2EPKDLNNDM009 is a 2-fiber OM4+ duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density data center and structured cabling installations. Built with a 1.6mm corded jacket rated OFNP (plenum-rated, riser-safe), it terminates in keyed LC connectors on each end with a physical contact (PC) polish. The keyed LC interface helps enforce polarity discipline and reduces mismatch errors in port-dense environments. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this cord in backbone and horizontal runs where plenum fire ratings are required by code.
This patch cord is suited for 10 Gigabit and 40 Gigabit Ethernet applications in commercial and enterprise environments. The OM4+ multimode fiber supports higher bandwidth and longer reach than standard OM4, making it appropriate for spine-leaf architectures, SAN connections, and high-speed switch-to-server links. Plenum rating makes it usable in air-handling spaces without conduit where permitted by the applicable fire code. The slim 1.6mm jacket eases routing in tightly bundled cable trays and high-port-count patch panels.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and field-install patch cord for LC-keyed duplex ports on OM4+ multimode fiber systems in structured cabling and data center environments.
Low-voltage technicians and data cabling installers handle fiber patch cord termination and routing. Before connecting or disconnecting, ensure active optical transceivers are powered down or the port is disabled to avoid eye-safety hazards from live laser sources. Follow NEC Article 770 and applicable local fire codes when routing plenum-rated cabling in air-handling spaces. Inspect ferrule end-faces with an approved fiber scope prior to insertion, and avoid bending the cord below its minimum bend radius during routing.
