The PANDUIT FOPRZ12Y is a 12-fiber indoor armored fiber optic cable built on 50-micron OM4 multimode glass. The armored construction provides mechanical protection against crush, rodent damage, and accidental impact in demanding indoor environments. OM4 50-micron fiber supports high-bandwidth applications including 40 Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet over standard multimode link distances. This cable is suited for structured cabling installations in data centers, enterprise buildings, and industrial facilities where both optical performance and physical durability are required. Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage or network cabling technicians.
This cable is designed for indoor runs where an armored jacket is specified by the installation environment or local code. Typical applications include riser and horizontal pathways in commercial buildings, server room backbone runs, and any indoor route where the cable may be exposed to foot traffic, conduit edges, or mechanical stress. The 12-fiber count supports backbone and high-density patch applications without requiring multiple individual cables.
