The PANDUIT F9TRP5NQSSNF003 is an OS2 single-mode 12-fiber MPO harness assembly with an OFNP plenum-rated jacket. This type of harness cable breaks out a multi-fiber MPO connector on one end into individual fibers or smaller groupings on the other, allowing structured cabling installers and network technicians to transition between high-density MPO backbone runs and standard fiber patch points. The plenum-rated jacket meets OFNP flame and smoke requirements for installation in air-handling spaces. This assembly is sold as a single unit and is intended for permanent or semi-permanent horizontal or backbone cabling installations in data centers and enterprise networks.
This harness is suited for OS2 single-mode fiber infrastructure in commercial and enterprise environments. Typical applications include data center structured cabling, high-density fiber distribution frames, and backbone interconnects between patch panels and active equipment. The MPO female connector on the multi-fiber end mates with MPO-equipped transceivers, cassettes, and adapter panels. The plenum rating makes this assembly appropriate for runs through drop ceilings and raised-floor air-handling plenums without the need for conduit, where code permits.
Designed for use with OS2 single-mode MPO-based fiber infrastructure including MPO patch panels, fiber cassettes, and MPO-equipped active equipment in data center and enterprise structured cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician or licensed electrician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards and local fire code requirements for plenum-rated materials. Verify that all MPO adapter panels and cassettes are keyed and polarity-matched before seating connectors. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing to prevent signal degradation. Do not pull on the fiber cable by the connector boot or overtighten cable management hardware.
