The PANDUIT F92EPKKKKSKM007 is a duplex single-mode OS2 fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and enterprise network environments. Built with a 1.6 mm duplex round jacketing and LC keyed connectors on both ends, this cable supports polarity-managed fiber routing where mating with standard LC ports is intentionally restricted. The OFNP (optical fiber nonconductive plenum) rating makes it suitable for installation in air-handling plenum spaces where fire and smoke performance requirements apply. Licensed low-voltage cabling technicians and network infrastructure installers are the primary end users.
This patch cable is used in OS2 single-mode fiber backbone and horizontal cabling runs, particularly where plenum-rated pathways are required by local fire code. The keyed LC connector format is used in managed fiber systems to enforce polarity control and prevent accidental cross-connection of incompatible fiber types or circuits. Typical install scenarios include data center interconnects, telecommunications rooms, and campus backbone segments where OS2 single-mode glass is deployed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation patch cable for OS2 single-mode fiber systems using keyed LC duplex port interfaces in plenum-rated structured cabling environments.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with TIA-568 fiber optic cabling standards. Deactivate active equipment on the fiber circuit before disconnecting or connecting patch cables to avoid eye hazard from live laser sources. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, and avoid sharp bends at the connector boot. Plenum-rated cables must be installed in the plenum spaces they are rated for in accordance with NEC Article 770.
