The PANDUIT F923LSNSNSNM002 is an OS2 singlemode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for low-loss optical signal transmission in structured cabling installations. This cable features a 3mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, making it suitable for enclosed or plenum-adjacent environments where fire safety and smoke toxicity are a concern. Terminated with SC connectors on both ends in a duplex configuration, it supports high-bandwidth data transmission across telecommunications rooms, data centers, and commercial network infrastructure. Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage technicians or network cabling professionals.
This patch cable is used in singlemode fiber runs where a duplex SC-to-SC connection is required. The LSZH jacket is specified in environments governed by fire codes that restrict the use of PVC-jacketed cable, including many commercial and institutional buildings. The 3mm jacket diameter provides added protection and durability compared to standard 2mm simplex cordage, making it appropriate for patching between fiber panels, switches, and optical transceivers in both horizontal and backbone cabling applications.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for use with SC-port fiber optic equipment including patch panels, media converters, and optical transceivers in OS2 singlemode fiber cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down or disable active optical transceivers before connecting or disconnecting fiber patch cables to avoid exposure to laser light. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius of the cable, and do not apply excessive pull tension during routing. Inspect and clean SC ferrules with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating connectors.
