The PANDUIT F923LANANSNM021 is an OS2 single-mode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and enterprise environments. It features a 3mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket, making it suitable for use in plenum-adjacent or indoor spaces where fire and smoke safety codes restrict PVC-jacketed cabling. The cable is terminated with an SC APC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, providing a polished physical contact interface for low-loss signal transmission across single-mode fiber links. Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage or data communications contractors.
This patch cable is used in single-mode fiber distribution systems, telecom rooms, data centers, and structured cabling infrastructure. It supports OS2 single-mode applications requiring tight bend radius management and low insertion loss. The LSZH jacket makes it appropriate for installations governed by building codes that restrict halogen-emitting materials, including many European standards and select North American projects with specific indoor air quality requirements. The two-fiber duplex construction supports bidirectional transmission on separate fibers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cord for OS2 single-mode fiber optic systems using SC and SC APC port interfaces in structured cabling panels, switches, and media converters.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or fiber optic cabling technician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize or power down connected active equipment before disconnecting or reconnecting fiber patch cables. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing to prevent signal degradation. Inspect and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating to protect against insertion loss and contamination.
