The PANDUIT F91ELANB1SNM001 is a single-fiber OS2 singlemode fiber optic patch cord terminated with SC/APC connectors and sheathed in a 1.6mm Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. OS2 singlemode fiber is rated for long-distance, low-loss transmission, making this cord appropriate for backbone and horizontal runs in enterprise, data center, and telecommunications environments. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and halogen gas emission in the event of fire, meeting the requirements of installations where plenum or riser spaces demand tighter environmental compliance. Licensed network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers.
This patch cord is suited for structured cabling installations in commercial buildings, data centers, and telecommunications rooms where OS2 singlemode infrastructure is in place. The SC/APC connector format provides an angled physical contact finish that minimizes back-reflection, making it a preferred choice for passive optical network (PON) equipment, CATV headends, and high-precision optical test setups. It is sold and used as an individual assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cord for use with SC/APC-port singlemode optical equipment and OS2 singlemode fiber optic infrastructure in commercial and enterprise cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling technician or network infrastructure professional familiar with TIA-568 and ISO 11801 fiber cabling standards. Deactivate any optical transmitters connected to the circuit before handling connectors to avoid eye hazard from invisible infrared laser light. Keep dust caps on connector ferrules until the moment of connection to prevent contamination of the angled PC surface. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the 1.6mm cable during routing or termination.
