The PANDUIT F62ELLNSNSNM040 is an OM1 multimode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in data centers, telecom rooms, and commercial network environments. Built with a 1.6mm diameter cable and low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket, it is suited for installations where flame spread and toxic smoke emission are a concern. The cable features LC duplex connectors on both ends with a physical contact (PC) polish, providing reliable low-loss connections in multimode fiber runs. Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage technicians or network cabling professionals.
This patch cable is used in horizontal and backbone fiber runs within buildings where plenum or LSZH-rated materials are required by local fire code. The duplex LC configuration supports full-duplex data transmission, making it appropriate for Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and similar network applications. The OM1 multimode fiber classification supports legacy 62.5-micron core applications. It ships as a single cable assembly and is sold per each unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install patch cable for OM1 multimode fiber optic systems using LC duplex port equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or network cabling technician. Before connecting or disconnecting fiber assemblies, power down active transceivers and avoid looking directly into fiber ends. Keep dust caps in place until the moment of connection to prevent contamination of the PC-polished ferrules. Follow applicable building and fire codes, including NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements for LSZH-rated cable use in the intended environment.
