The PANDUIT F62ELLNSNSNM009 is an OM1 multimode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial environments. Built with a 1.6mm diameter duplex construction and LC duplex connectors on both ends, this cable uses a Physical Contact (PC) polish on its ferrules to minimize back reflection and insertion loss. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket makes it suitable for plenum-adjacent and enclosed spaces where smoke toxicity and halogen off-gassing are a concern. Licensed network installers and data center technicians are the primary installers of this cable type.
This patch cable is used in OM1 62.5-micron multimode fiber optic networks, typically found in legacy data center backbone runs, campus LAN environments, and horizontal cabling segments. It connects patch panels, switches, media converters, and fiber optic transceivers using standard LC duplex ports. The LSZH jacket material meets fire safety requirements in ventilation spaces and enclosed cable pathways common in European and international building codes, as well as applicable North American installations where LSZH is specified.
