The PANDUIT F62ELLNSNSNM002 is an OM1 multimode duplex fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling and data network installations. Built with a 1.6mm diameter cable and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket, this assembly terminates in LC duplex connectors with a physical contact (PC) polish on each ferrule. The LSZH jacket makes it suitable for use in plenum-adjacent or low-ventilation environments where smoke and halogen emissions are a concern. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers of this cable type.
This patch cable is used in data centers, telecommunications rooms, enterprise LANs, and structured cabling environments that rely on OM1 62.5-micron multimode fiber infrastructure. The LC duplex connector format is widely deployed in switches, routers, media converters, and fiber distribution panels. The LSZH jacket makes this cable well suited for installations in Europe and other regions where halogen-free materials are required by local codes, as well as indoor deployments where air-quality standards demand reduced toxicity in the event of a fire.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cable for OM1 multimode fiber infrastructure terminated with LC duplex ports on switches, patch panels, and active networking equipment.
Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or network infrastructure personnel following TIA-568 and ISO 11801 structured cabling standards. Before inserting or removing fiber connectors, power down or disable active optical transceivers where possible to avoid exposure to laser light. Handle LC ferrules carefully to avoid contamination; clean connectors with an approved fiber optic cleaning tool before mating. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius specified for 1.6mm fiber cable to avoid signal attenuation or physical damage to the fiber strand.
