The PANDUIT EV14-14FB-Q is an insulated vinyl fork terminal connector designed for secure, reliable wire terminations in electrical wiring applications. Fork terminals, also called spade terminals, provide a fast disconnect point at terminal blocks, studs, and binding posts without requiring complete removal of the fastener. The vinyl insulation sleeve protects the barrel and provides basic electrical isolation at the termination point. This type of connector is a standard component in panel wiring, control circuits, and equipment maintenance work performed by licensed electricians and electrical technicians.
Fork terminal connectors like the EV14-14FB-Q are used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. They are commonly found in control panel assembly, motor control wiring, and field-service terminations where quick access to connections is required. The fork-style tongue slides under a terminal screw or stud, allowing the fastener to remain partially engaged during servicing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit insulated fork terminal for use with appropriately sized wire gauges and terminal studs or binding posts in electrical control and wiring applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified electrical technicians. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing connectors, following NFPA 70E lockout/tagout procedures. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool matched to the terminal barrel size to ensure a proper crimp and avoid damaging the vinyl insulation sleeve. Do not solder over a crimped vinyl-insulated terminal, as heat can degrade the insulation.
