The PANDUIT CJT688TGBL is a Mini-Com modular insert designed for Cat 6 structured cabling installations. It terminates 28 AWG and 30 AWG conductors, making it well-suited for slim-gauge patch cords and high-density cabling environments. The module snaps into standard Mini-Com faceplates and patch panels, providing a reliable, field-terminated connectivity point. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers. The compact form factor supports clean cable management in both horizontal and vertical raceway systems used throughout commercial and residential structured wiring projects.
This module is intended for use in Cat 6 horizontal cabling runs and cross-connect applications where 28 or 30 AWG conductors are specified. It fits into PANDUIT Mini-Com faceplate and patch panel ports, supporting high-density deployments in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and office LAN environments. The unit is sold individually and is appropriate wherever a field-replaceable, snap-in Cat 6 insert is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade insert for standard PANDUIT Mini-Com faceplates and patch panel housings supporting Cat 6 structured cabling systems.
Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage technicians or electricians in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize and disconnect active network equipment before terminating or replacing modular inserts. Use a 110-style punch-down tool rated for the conductor gauge being terminated, and verify conductor seating before closing the module. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing to the termination point.
