It snaps into Mini-Com faceplates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes to terminate horizontal copper cabling runs at the workstation or consolidation point. The module provides a shielded interface that supports Cat 6 performance requirements, helping maintain signal integrity in environments where EMI interference is a concern. This module is suited for commercial and residential structured cabling systems where Cat 6 shielded performance is required. Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians following TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any PoE-capable switch ports before terminating cables to avoid potential voltage exposure during punch-down. Use the appropriate 110-style punch-down tool for clean, consistent terminations, and ensure shielding continuity is maintained throughout the cabling run per the project specifications.
