The PANDUIT CJ688TGYL-24 is a Mini-Com keystone jack module rated for Category 6 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) structured cabling systems. Designed for use in data, voice, and low-voltage communication networks, this module snaps into standard Mini-Com faceplates, surface boxes, and patch panels. It provides a reliable termination point for horizontal cable runs in commercial and residential network installations. Licensed low-voltage technicians and network infrastructure installers typically handle deployment of this type of component as part of a structured cabling system build-out or upgrade.
This module is suited for office, commercial, and light industrial environments where Cat 6 performance is required. It fits into Mini-Com compatible faceplates and patch panels, making it appropriate for new installations and retrofits alike. Sold individually, it allows technicians to populate only the ports needed without purchasing full pre-loaded panels.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard component for use with Mini-Com series faceplates, surface mount boxes, and patch panels supporting Cat 6 UTP cabling infrastructure.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician in accordance with applicable TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active equipment connected to the cabling run before terminating conductors at the jack. Use an appropriate punch-down tool for IDC terminations and follow the wiring scheme printed on the module body consistently throughout the installation. Avoid untwisting cable pairs more than necessary at the termination point to maintain Cat 6 performance margins.
