The PANDUIT CJ688TGBL is a Mini-Com keystone module designed for Category 6 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) structured cabling installations. The module seats into any standard Mini-Com faceplate, surface mount box, or patch panel housing and terminates an 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) connection. It is engineered to meet Cat 6 channel performance requirements, supporting Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed data applications. Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or electricians working in commercial or residential data network environments.
This module is suited for horizontal cable termination in commercial office builds, data centers, and structured wiring closets. It works within a complete Mini-Com system, snapping into compatible faceplates, patch panels, and surface mount enclosures to create a clean, modular patching infrastructure. The 8-position layout accommodates standard T568A and T568B wiring schemes used across enterprise and light commercial network deployments.
Designed for use with PANDUIT Mini-Com compatible faceplates, surface mount boxes, and patch panel inserts that accept standard Mini-Com keystone modules.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician or licensed electrician in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize or disconnect any active network equipment before terminating cable runs. A 110-style punch-down tool is typically required to seat conductors into the IDC contacts. Verify wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) before termination and maintain consistency throughout the installation to ensure proper channel performance.
