The PANDUIT CJ5E88TGBL is a Mini-Com keystone jack module rated for Category 5e Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) structured cabling systems. It is designed to terminate horizontal copper cable runs at the work area outlet, patch panel, or consolidation point. The module snaps into any standard Mini-Com compatible faceplate or surface-mount box, providing a clean, organized termination point for voice and data network connections. Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians and structured cabling contractors working on commercial or residential network infrastructure projects.
This module is suited for new installations and retrofit work in commercial office environments, data closets, classrooms, healthcare facilities, and any location requiring a compliant Cat 5e copper outlet. It supports standard 8-position, 8-conductor (8P8C) connectivity and is appropriate for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet applications as well as voice-over-IP and analog telephone terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit component for PANDUIT Mini-Com system faceplates, patch panels, and surface-mount enclosures supporting Cat 5e UTP infrastructure.
Low-voltage cabling technicians should de-energize any powered equipment connected to the network port before terminating or replacing the module. The module is terminated using a 110-style punch-down tool following the wiring scheme marked on the module body. Work should comply with TIA-568 structured cabling standards and applicable local low-voltage wiring codes. Avoid untwisting more cable than necessary at the termination point to maintain Cat 5e performance margins.
