The PANDUIT CC6X88RD is a Mini-Com coupler module designed for structured cabling installations. It provides an inline connection point between two patch cables or data lines, allowing technicians to extend or segment Cat 6 network runs without re-terminating cable ends. The module snaps into any standard Mini-Com keystone faceplate or patch panel opening, making it a practical component in both new installations and retrofit applications. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers. The unit is sold individually and is designed to maintain signal integrity across the connection point.
This coupler module is suited for horizontal cabling runs, equipment rooms, and work area outlets in commercial and light industrial environments. It fits into the Mini-Com modular system, which allows technicians to populate faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panels with interchangeable modules. Typical use cases include extending data drops, creating test access points, or adapting existing cable runs to new equipment locations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or expansion module for use in Mini-Com series faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panel inserts that accept standard Mini-Com keystone modules.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling contractors or qualified network technicians in accordance with applicable structured cabling standards such as TIA-568. Power to active equipment connected to the circuit should be removed before inserting or removing the module. Snap the module firmly into the Mini-Com opening until the locking tab seats fully. Verify cable connections are fully seated on both ports after installation.
