The PANDUIT BT4M-C is a barbed nylon cable tie designed for bundling and securing wire harnesses, conduit runs, and cable assemblies in electrical, data, and industrial installations. At 14.2 inches in overall length with a natural (off-white) color, this tie accommodates bundle diameters up to 4 inches and delivers 18 lb tensile strength. The material is nylon, offering a solid combination of flexibility and holding force for general-duty applications. Electricians, panel builders, and maintenance technicians use this tie where a standard push-mount or wrap-and-lock fastener is needed without specialized tooling.
The BT4M-C suits residential, commercial, and light industrial wiring work. Common applications include securing cable bundles in electrical panels, routing low-voltage wiring, organizing network and control cables, and bundling conduit or tubing in mechanical rooms. Its operating temperature range of -76 degrees F to 185 degrees F makes it appropriate for both indoor and moderate outdoor environments. The tie ships in a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per package.
Designed as an OEM-style general-purpose cable tie compatible with standard barbed cable tie installation tools and applications requiring a 14.2-inch nylon tie with a 4-inch maximum bundle diameter.
Cable ties are installed by electricians and low-voltage technicians following NEC bundling and support requirements. Power down circuits before working inside energized panels or enclosures. Insert the tail through the head, route around the bundle, and pull to the desired tension before trimming the tail flush. Avoid overtightening on insulated conductors, as excessive cinch force can deform cable jackets.
