The PANASONIC fv-10nlf1e WhisperLine is a remote-mount, in-line exhaust ventilation fan rated at 120 CFM and 1.0 sone. Built from galvanized steel with an insulated housing and a totally enclosed condenser motor, this unit is designed for quiet, continuous-duty operation in residential ventilation systems. The dual-inlet blower wheel draws air from both sides, increasing intake area and supporting balanced airflow across multiple inlets. Running at 1,562 RPM and connecting via 4-inch duct, the fv-10nlf1e is Energy Star rated and includes thermal fuse protection for added safety. Licensed contractors install this unit in attic or interstitial spaces, away from the occupied area, keeping noise levels low at the point of use.
The fv-10nlf1e is suited for single-bathroom or multi-room residential ventilation applications where a single fan must serve several exhaust points simultaneously. Typical installations connect individual ceiling grilles over a shower, tub, toilet, or vanity through individual duct runs that merge at the fan unit. Because the fan body mounts remotely in a joist or truss bay, this design is especially useful in new construction and renovation projects where multiple exhaust points must be served without multiple fan motors. The unit supports five different installation positions, giving installers flexibility in tight framing conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style remote-mount in-line ventilation fan for residential bathroom and multi-room exhaust applications requiring a single fan to serve multiple inlet points through 4-inch duct connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed contractor familiar with mechanical ventilation requirements and applicable local building codes. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before any wiring work. The fan body mounts in the attic or ceiling cavity, not in the occupied space; verify that all duct runs are sealed and insulated to prevent condensation. Exhaust must terminate to the exterior of the building in accordance with applicable mechanical codes.
