The OZ GEDNEY C-1500 is a die-cast zinc service entrance cable screw connector designed to secure oval service entrance cable at the point of entry into an enclosure or meter socket. The connector threads into a knockout opening and clamps the cable in place using a screw-type fastening mechanism. Furnished with a locknut for secure panel or enclosure engagement, the C-1500 carries UL and CSA approvals for use in residential and light commercial service entrance applications. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of compliant service entrance wiring assemblies.
The C-1500 is intended for use on oval service entrance cable in 1-1/2 inch trade size knockout openings. It is suited for residential meter bases, load centers, and service entrance enclosures where a secure, code-compliant cable termination is required. The included locknut simplifies installation and helps maintain a tight mechanical connection at the enclosure wall. This connector replaces product number NC051.
Designed for use on oval service entrance cable in 1-1/2 inch trade size applications. Replaces product number NC051.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the service entrance and confirm the utility has disconnected power before working at the service point. Thread the connector into the knockout opening, seat the cable through the connector, and tighten the clamping screw to secure the cable mechanically. Secure the locknut firmly against the interior wall of the enclosure to complete the connection.
