The OZ GEDNEY 4Q-400WM is a 4-inch trade size, straight male liquidtight flexible conduit connector with an integrated stainless steel wire mesh grip, designed for use on liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC). The connector body is zinc electroplated malleable iron with an insulated throat, and the ferrule is zinc electroplated steel. A 12-inch single-wave stainless steel mesh sleeve grips the conduit jacket to prevent pull-out and resist conduit pop-out under vibration or tension. The tapered NPT male hub is furnished with a locknut and KO sealing ring. Rated for wet and hazardous locations, this fitting is liquidtight, raintight, oiltight, and concretetight. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this fitting in demanding environments where conduit security and environmental sealing are both required.
The 4Q-400WM is suited for industrial, commercial, and hazardous-location wiring installations where LFMC terminates at enclosures, panels, or junction boxes. The wet and hazardous location rating makes it appropriate for outdoor, washdown, petrochemical, and similar environments. The insulated throat protects wire insulation at the entry point. Inspection windows in the ferrule allow the installer to verify full conduit engagement before finalizing the connection. The fitting ships as a single assembly with the locknut and KO sealing ring included.
Designed for use on liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) at 4-inch trade size.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making conduit terminations. Ensure the conduit is fully seated inside the ferrule until visible through the inspection windows before tightening. Do not over-tighten the locknut in a way that could deform the conduit jacket or compromise the liquidtight seal.
