The Oxbox J801V120DM5SEB is a two-stage, variable-speed upflow and horizontal gas furnace rated at 120,000 BTU/h and 80% AFUE. It is built for large residential heating applications where consistent output and energy efficiency are both required. The two-stage gas valve allows the furnace to operate at a lower stage during mild conditions, reducing fuel consumption and temperature swings. The variable-speed ECM blower motor adjusts airflow continuously, delivering quieter operation and more even heat distribution throughout the conditioned space. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this unit.
This furnace is suited for large residential installations in upflow or horizontal configurations. The D-cabinet width accommodates higher-capacity duct systems typically found in larger homes. It ships via LTL freight due to its size and weight. The ECM motor and five-speed blower mode selection give installing technicians flexibility when commissioning airflow for the connected duct system. Applications include new construction and replacement installations where an 80% AFUE gas furnace is specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gas furnace for large residential systems requiring an 80% AFUE upflow or horizontal unit in a D-cabinet form factor.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the applicable edition of the International Fuel Gas Code. Shut off gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing or replacing any components. Vent connections accept 3-inch or 4-inch diameter flue pipe; verify vent sizing against local code and the manufacturer installation instructions before final connection. Verify minimum circuit ampacity of 6 amps and maximum overcurrent protection of 15 amps at the electrical panel before energizing the unit.
