The OSRAM FO32/841/XP/ECO3 is a 32-watt T8 linear fluorescent lamp rated for both commercial and residential applications. Running on instant-start or rapid-start electronic ballasts, it delivers 3000 initial lumens at a 4100K cool white color temperature with a color rendering index (CRI) of 85. The lamp measures 1 inch in diameter and 47.78 inches in overall length with a nominal 48-inch designation. It features a frosted finish for uniform light distribution across a full 360-degree beam spread and carries RoHS compliance. Rated average life is 24,000 hours based on 3 hours per start on an instant-start ballast meeting ANSI specifications. Longer operating cycles will increase rated life accordingly.
This lamp is suited for general-purpose fluorescent fixtures in office, retail, industrial, and residential settings where T8 lamp formats are standard. It is compatible with electronic ballast-driven fixtures and is sold individually, with a standard carton pack of 30. Initial lumens are measured after 100 hours of operation. The G13 medium bi-pin base seats into the standard T8 lamp holder found in most 4-foot fluorescent troffers and strip fixtures. The lamp is positioned as an extended-performance, environmentally conscious option given its RoHS-compliant construction.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard 48-inch T8 fluorescent lamps in fixtures using a G13 medium bi-pin base and electronic instant-start or rapid-start ballasts. Consult the ballast manufacturer for minimum starting temperature requirements before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or lighting technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the fixture completely before removing the existing lamp or accessing ballast wiring. Verify ballast compatibility and minimum starting temperature with the ballast manufacturer prior to lamp installation. Do not install in fixtures designed for magnetic ballasts without confirming electronic ballast compatibility.
