The OSG VG434-7511 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding metal removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It carries a 0.75-inch milling diameter, a 0.06-inch corner radius, and a TiAlN PVD coating that extends tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The four-flute, single-end geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes. With a 2.25-inch length of cut and a 5-inch overall length, this is a long-reach tool suited for deeper-cavity work where standard-length end mills fall short. Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians running CNC machining centers.
This end mill is designed for use in CNC milling operations on a wide range of ferrous and exotic workpiece materials. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry, and the right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently in slotting, profiling, and pocket-milling applications. The 0.75-inch straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with standard toolholders and collet chucks. The long flute length makes it particularly well suited for workpieces requiring deep-profile cuts or multi-pass finishing along steep walls. It belongs to the OSG VG434 series, which targets general-purpose to high-performance milling across P, M, K, S, and H material classes.
Designed for use with standard toolholders and collet-style clamping systems. Rated for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials (ISO material codes P, M, K, S, H). Part of the OSG VG434 series.
Installation is performed by machinists using a compatible toolholder sized for a 0.75-inch straight-cylindrical shank; verify shank seating and runout before initiating a cut. Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut against the machine and workpiece specifications before operation. Inspect the cutting edge and coating for chipping or wear before each use. Do not exceed the tool's rated length-of-cut depth without verifying deflection limits for the specific setup.
