The OSG HP421-1094 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Part of the HP421 series, it features a TiAlN coating and a 35-degree helix angle on a spiral flute geometry. The 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, making it well-suited for tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The micrograin carbide substrate supports harder workpiece materials and higher cutting speeds than standard carbide grades. Machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary users.
