The OSG HP421-0469 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and small-feature work. Built on OSG's HP421 series platform, it carries a 3/64 inch (0.0469 inch) cutting diameter with a 9/64 inch (0.1406 inch) length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. The overall length is 1.5 inches. The micrograin carbide substrate and TiAlN coating support high-speed cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Two spiral flutes with a 35-degree helix angle promote chip evacuation in shallow, small-diameter cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-and-die technicians are the primary installers and end users.
