It measures 0.161 inches (No. 20 wire size, 4.09 mm) in diameter with a 140-degree split point angle and a right-hand spiral flute configuration. The bit runs on a straight-cylindrical shank with a shank diameter of 6.00 mm and an overall length of 66.00 mm. A web-thinned, tapered web design reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation. This bit is intended for use by machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and production drilling operations where tight tolerances and consistent hole quality are required.
The HP243-1610 is built for short-hole drilling applications where a stub-length tool reduces deflection and improves rigidity.
