The OSG 968-3750 is a single-cut carbide abrasive bur with a ball head profile, conforming to industry specification SD-3L6. It is designed for aggressive material removal and finishing work on hard metals and difficult-to-machine materials. The uncoated carbide head delivers consistent cutting performance at speeds up to 63,000 RPM. With a 3/8-inch cutting diameter and a 6-inch overall length on a 1/4-inch shank, this bur is suited for deep-reach deburring, port work, and surface finishing tasks performed by machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians working in production or repair environments.
This bur is applied in metalworking operations requiring precise material removal on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. The ball shape is commonly used for contour finishing, radius blending, and cavity work in both production machining and maintenance repair. The 6-inch length allows access to recessed areas and deep bores where standard-length burs cannot reach. It is appropriate for use with pneumatic die grinders and rotary tools in industrial and job-shop settings.

Always wear appropriate eye protection and ensure the workpiece is properly fixtured before operation. Do not exceed the rated maximum RPM of 63,000.
