The OSG 90100711 is a 5-flute solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling of hardened steels and difficult materials. Built on OSG Series 9010 Exocarbmax geometry, it features a 1/8 inch mill diameter, a 3/16 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand helix optimized for both roughing and finishing operations. The ultra-fine micrograin carbide substrate is finished with a WXS PVD coating to extend tool life at elevated hardness levels. The stub-length profile keeps the tool rigid under load, reducing deflection in tight-clearance applications.

This end mill is engineered for machining hardened steels over 55 Rc, cast iron, hard materials, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank makes it compatible with standard collet chucks and shrink-fit holders.
