It features a 13.90 mm diameter with a 140-degree point angle and an R-thinned web for improved self-centering and reduced thrust. The EgiAs coating enhances wear resistance and heat dissipation, making it suitable for sustained use in production environments. With an overall length of 176.00 mm and a flute length of 112.00 mm, this drill is built for depth-to-diameter ratios up to 5xD. It is typically installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC and manual drilling operations.
This drill is rated for primary workpiece materials including steel, alloy steel, cast iron, titanium, and titanium alloy, corresponding to material codes P, K, S, and H. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 14.00 mm diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collet holders. The right-hand spiral flute design supports chip evacuation in blind hole, cross hole, and through-hole drilling scenarios. Coolant-through capability makes it well-suited for deep-hole operations where heat management is critical.
