The OSG 8595491 is a screw machine length drill bit designed for fast, accurate hole-making in metalworking applications. Built from high speed steel with a coated finish, it measures 0.1935 inches (Wire Size 10, 4.91 mm) in diameter with a straight-cylindrical shank. The 120-degree faceted point and web-thinned, tapered web geometry reduce entry force and improve centering on hard materials. Two spiral flutes clear chips efficiently during operation. Overall length is approximately 2.76 inches (70 mm) with a flute length of approximately 1.02 inches (26 mm) and a shank diameter of approximately 0.24 inches (6 mm). This bit is rated for high performance service and carries a diameter tolerance of +0 to -0.018 mm. It is sold individually and suited for production drilling environments where a compact, rigid drill is required.
This bit is well suited for drilling steel, stainless steel, aluminum, aluminum alloy, and aluminum silicate in precision machining and fabrication settings.
