The OSG 8594065 is a jobber-length twist drill bit engineered for high-performance metal drilling applications. Built from vanadium high speed steel and finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, this bit delivers extended tool life and improved wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. It measures 6.5 mm in diameter with a 101 mm overall length and a 63 mm flute length. The 120-degree split point uses X-thinning to reduce thrust force and improve self-centering on entry, eliminating the need for a center punch in most applications. This bit is suited for machinists, tool-and-die shops, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working on production or jobsite drilling tasks.

The 8594065 is designed for drilling blind holes, cross holes, and through holes in a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, aluminum alloy, and aluminum silicate. The regular spiral flute geometry and tapered web configuration promote chip evacuation in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
