The OSG 8556350 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding metal removal and finishing operations. It features a 12 mm cutting diameter, a 38 mm length of cut, and a 0.5 mm corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in interrupted cuts. The variable helix geometry helps break up harmonic chatter, making it effective in both roughing and finishing passes. Applied with a Duarise PVD coating, this end mill is built for high-performance cutting in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is installed in CNC machining centers using a standard straight-cylindrical shank toolholder.
