The OSG 8549780 is a 6-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. With an 8 mm (0.315 inch) cutting diameter and a 20 mm length of cut, this tool delivers aggressive material removal while maintaining tight tolerances. The 43-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. A DUROREY coating adds surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide substrate supports higher feed rates and improved edge retention compared to standard carbide grades. This end mill is a single-end tool with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction.
