The OSG 8331016 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting M14x2 metric internal threads in a single helical interpolation pass. Built from solid carbide and finished with an EgiAs coating, this tool delivers wear resistance and thermal stability in demanding machining environments. The 9.70 mm cutting diameter pairs with a 10 mm shank for rigid tool holding, while the 32 mm length of cut accommodates standard thread depth requirements. With 5 flutes in a right-hand flute direction, the 8331016 is suited for CNC machining centers running metric thread milling cycles.

This thread mill is intended for use in metalworking applications where metric M14x2 threads are required. The helical flute geometry reduces cutting forces compared to single-point threading, making it appropriate for harder workpiece materials and blind-hole applications where chip evacuation is critical. Installation Notes
