The OSG 7813028 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the XP2040 manufacturer grade and designed for use in indexable milling cutters. It features a ZDKT parallelogram insert shape with a positive rake geometry, a chamfered and honed cutting edge style, and a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process. The insert measures 5.56 mm thick and 9.30 mm in inscribed circle diameter, with a 0.80 mm corner radius. Two cutting edges are provided per insert. The screw-hold mounting method and right-hand orientation are standard for the 78PSE cutter series. This insert is installed by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC milling operations.

This insert is intended for milling stainless steel as its primary workpiece material, with steel as the secondary application. Compatibility

Installation Notes
