The OSG 70720116 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals and graphite. It features a 1/8 inch cutting diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius, and four right-hand helical flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The cutting edge is finished with a CVD diamond coating, making it well suited for abrasive materials that would quickly wear uncoated carbide tooling. At 3 inches overall length with a 3/4 inch length of cut and extended reach geometry, this tool is built for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup.

This end mill is used in CNC machining applications involving non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass, as well as graphite and composite materials. The single-end, center-cutting design allows for plunge entry and contour milling. Extended reach and a 5/8 inch reach length make it appropriate for pockets and features with depth requirements that exceed standard stub configurations.
